  • Substrate

  • Container

  • Ventilation

  • Season

  • Local conditions

  • Plant growth

  • Plant decline

  • Light conditions

  • Temperature

  • Pruning needs

A sealed container should not be assumed to require no future attention.

18. Drainage and Moisture

Different projects require different approaches.

A closed terrarium does not have the same drainage and moisture conditions as an open cactus or succulent container.

Decorative stones alone should not be treated as a guarantee against overwatering.

19. Kokedama

Kokedama care depends on:

  • Plant species

  • Root-ball materials

  • Humidity

  • Display method

Customers should observe the individual plant rather than rely solely on a universal watering schedule.

20. Cacti and Succulents

Cacti and succulents should generally be selected according to compatible dry-growing requirements.

Open containers, suitable growing media, drainage, adequate light, and room for growth may be important considerations.

FYNORA does not recommend enclosing dry-growing cacti or succulents in a humid sealed terrarium.

21. Plant Compatibility

Before combining plants, customers should consider whether they have compatible:

  • Light requirements

  • Water requirements

  • Humidity needs

  • Temperature preferences

  • Growth rates

  • Mature sizes

22. Plant Identification

Plant identification from photographs or general descriptions may be uncertain.

Where exact identification matters, customers should use appropriate reliable references or seek specialist assistance.

Customers should verify the exact species before introducing plants into environments with:

Some projects may involve risks from:

26. Responsible Sourcing

Where moss, plants, or natural materials are used, customers should consider:

  • Local laws

  • Conservation rules

  • Protected habitats

  • Responsible commercial sourcing

Do not remove plants or moss from locations where collecting is prohibited.

Younger users should receive appropriate adult supervision when working with:
